His contest was for a local band from each city they were playing in to open. This band is only playing the show at the Emerson, not every date.

The first song on their myspace is pretty rad. It's pretty unusual to see a band fronted by two girls, both of which also play instruments. Good for them tho, I'd be psyched for my band to open for NFG.

I had to do a double-take, hah, in my dreams.
Props to Chasing Canadia for winning though! Not a big fan of the name, but I'll give them a try.

this contest was great. my band opened up for the poughkeepsie date and all the chad and all the nfg dudes were awesome to us.

Great for them! I saw them a few years ago just at some local show. They were really fun! I enjoyed them so much. I'm glad they will be opening for NFG. This is great coverage for them as a band. This will be such a fun show in November!

my band just opened up for them last night in Vermont. the show ruled. title fight kills always.

congrats to them. these guys are pretty good. their two non-acoustic songs remind me of 1997's first album. definitely want to keep my eye on these guys.
