02) Of course a Paranormal Activity sequel has already been announced.

03) Charlize Theron will star in the fourth Mad Max film, Fury Road.

04) With the box office success of This Is It, Sony is pushing for Oscar attention.

05) Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder) is penning a screenplay for Men in Black III, and Barry Sonenfeld -- who helmed parts one and two -- is apparently attached to direct.

06) Sin City 2 will go into production in the second half of 2010, and the possibility of a Sin City 3 are already being discussed.

07) Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins is in negotiations to play Thor's father Odin in the upcoming Marvel movie.

08) Jessica Biel will produce and star in F***ing Engaged, a sex comedy in which her character and her husband have sex everyday leading up to their wedding. Saucy.

09) Ridley Scott says the prequel to Alien will be a "brand new box of tricks", and "if Alien [took place] towards the end of this century, then the prequel story will take place 30-years prior."

10) Can you imagine Willem Dafoe as Batman? Well, according to Dafoe, he was approached about taking on the role in Burton's 1989 Batman.

11) Peter Berg will no longer be directing a remake of the sci-fi classic Dune. Oh, and Robert Pattinson had been approached to play the lead role of Paul Atreides.

12) Dwayne Johnson and Billy Bob Thornton will star together in Faster, an action thriller in which an ex-con (Johnson) sets out to avenge his brother's murder with a deadly to-do list. Trailed by a veteran cop (Thornton) and an egocentric hit man, he methodically races against time to bring those responsible to "justice."

13) J.J. Abrams will not be directing the next Mission Impossible film.

14) Adam Sandler is set to star in the romantic comedy Jack and Jill as both title characters.

15) Milla Jovovich has joined the psychological thriller Faces in the Crowd as a woman who survives an assault by a serial killer but is seriously injured, awakening in the hospital with a head wound which leaves her "face-blind." Her condition leaves her with the inability to recognize faces, so she must "navigate a world in which facial features change each time she loses sight of them."

16) The latest Spider-Man 4 rumor is there will only be one villain in the superhero sequel, with The Lizard alone facing off against Peter Parker.

17) Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon, and Josh Brolin will star in the Coen brothers' adaptation of True Grit.

18) J.J. Abrams wrote a script for Superman that's received some positive attention. Anyone want to see Abrams bring the Man of Steel to the big screen?

01) The new season of Scrubs will premiere on ABC on Tuesday, December 1st at 9:00pm ET/PT.

02) NBC can't get enough Chuck - it looks like six new episodes have been ordered for the next season.

03) Lisa Kudrow will be reuniting with her Friends co-star Courteney Cox in an upcoming episode of Cougar Town as a mean dermatologist.

04) In a TV David vs. Goliath story, the FX cable series Sons of Anarchy beat out The Jay Leno Show in ratings last week.

05) American Dad had been renewed for a sixth season.

06) It's a shame that the final season of Lost will be interrupted by the Winter Olympics on NBC, but at least you can still hype yourself up for the end.

07) Gabriel Byrne will be back for a third season of In Treatment on HBO.

08) NBC has canceled Trauma; in related news, the network has picked up Mercy, Community, and Parks and Recreation for full 22-episode seasons.

John Rhys-Davies (played Gimli in LOTR) will not return to play his father in the Hobbit.

Zach Galifianakis and Amy Adams are in talks to star in Town House. The story is loosely based on Tish Cohen's debut novel of the same name, which centers on an agoraphobic man, who lives with his teenage son in a historic Boston townhouse that he inherited from his rock star father. With royalties from his father's work dwindling, the man is forced to come to terms with his life. A call girl strikes up a friendship with the man.

Feel free to read more about it here:

Here’s a teaser for the new season of 24

Here’s the first 8 minutes of the new show V. (it’s good to see Morena Barrarin get some good work after all, she was great in firefly/serenity)

Here’s a nice big trailer for Avatar.

The Green Zone, starring Matt Damon, Greg Kinnear, Amy Ryan, Brendan Gleeson, Jason Isaacs and Khalid Abdalla.

The Teaser for Alice in Wonderland (should have something new in it from the previous but I don’t see much).

Shutter Island

Invictus, directed by Clint Eastwood starring Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon. The film tells the inspiring true story of how Nelson Mandela, played by Morgan Freeman, joined forces with the captain (Damon) of South Africa's rugby team to help unite their country. Newly elected President Mandela knows his nation remains racially and economically divided in the wake of apartheid. Believing he can bring his people together through the universal language of sport, Mandela rallies South Africa's underdog rugby team as they make an unlikely run to the 1995 World Cup Championship match.

Paranormal Activity sequel sounds like a horrible idea. i'd hate to see Paramount totally kill the excitement over this movie even if it is considered "expected" after the first did so well.

and i am THOROUGHLY disappointed that Lost is going to have such a huge gap. Screw the Olympics.

02) NBC can't get enough Chuck - it looks like six new episodes have been ordered for the next season.
This is amazing news, it may be one of the cheesiest shows on TV, but it's cheesy done well, like a perfect pop song.

05) American Dad had been renewed for a sixth season.
Best show in the fox sunday lineup. Glad it's been getting more popular gradually, that is mostly Hulu's doing.

08) NBC has picked up Community and Parks and Recreation for full 22-episode seasons.

Amazing news, Parks is definitely hitting it's stride (the new episode was insanely funny) and I still think Community has a lot of potential. I'm really glad I get at least a season of it.

I don't understand how this is so interesting. Not a brag but my wife and I had sex multiple times a day, everyday until our wedding. We still do.
