are you serious?! musically it's fantastic. Ben's vocals are just very dry, not a lot of reverb.

I love me some Death Cab and everything and I realize that Ben's vocals are that way all the time but man it's just bad. Musically it is sloppy at times and there is no way you can't sing that song with some energy. THey look bored out of their minds and it sounds like they practiced it once on the way to the performance. It just isn't very good.

I love Death Cab. There's very little they've done wrong in my eyes.

That said, this is bad.It's not stylized enough to be "going for" a unique DCFC sound. The vocals are horribly weak. Walla is sloppy. It's just embarrassing. It sounds like they were notified the day of that they had the opportunity to play this tribute event and then they rushed a half-assed rehearsal of a song that really connects people to John Hughes. It's really unfortunate. Such a good band most of the time.

Ben ruined the song. They look so bored most of time it's hard to watch it all the way through
