haha, im not critisizing his choice of music to be a part of. It just seems strange that a guy who fronted the Strokes would produce something New Wave.

I'll use the Daryl Polumbo reference again, hardcore to dance...pretty far out there.

I want to know whats considered a big hit then. Just because a band has a good sized fan base and they buy the song on I-tunes when it first comes out to push it to something like the #59 most downloaded song for a couple days doesn't make it a big hit. In my opinion in order for a song to be considered a "hit" it has to get constant airplay on mainstream radio stations which cookie jar didn't. By the way im a GCH fan so im not trying to hate on them I just don't think the song was a hit at all.

Edit: The song peaked at #59 on Billboards hot 100 and #55 on Billboards pop charts and it didn't stay for long. I would not call that a hit by any means.

Hope it's more like old GCH than newer stuff. REALLY hope.
