i had no idea they had a new record coming out. i thought they broke up and scottie moved to japan to be like... a japanese rock star? i dunno. i've been listening to last stop for like the last month straight, and then, BAM, this post.

i fucking love allister. the clips sound fantastic.

why? because back in 2001 when pop punk was HUGE thanks to blink-182, Sum 41 and New Found Glory I also loved the Green Day-influenced Allister, nothing groundbreaking but simple and effective. Now, that I'm exploring new genres and I try to find more elements in pop punk besides the three chord progression, they're just another band in genre. Nothing less and nothing more. That's why I'm not interested that much.
