It was pretty obvious that their old business model was unsustainable. As long as they don't give in and add a bunch of annoying ads I'll still support the site.
I don't see why everyone is all bent out of shape. For the model to survive and grow, it has to take in some income. 15% isn't that bad, and I don't see any of the features that got the system to this point disappearing anytime soon. I will continue to support this system.

And 15% isn't too bad and reading the link it says that once sales exceed $5,000, they'll only take 10%. The site is still the better option out there for downloads since it provides different formats which is why I like the site in the first place.
That's not bad at all. Besides, it looks like they're taking a bunch of those comments into consideration and may tweak the model a bit. That regressive rate will help them hold on to their more profitable members, and it may push the less serious guys to invest more into their projects.
