Why not make a comparison? BOTH were conceptual and were met with mixed reactions at first. Tommy was dramatized in God knows how many forms prior to the music hitting Broadway. AI has been played non stop since the album came out and have become instantly recognizable. BOTH had heavy involvement from the bands. There are similarities.
