Last christmas, my dad gave me his old stereo system. He knew I wanted to start collecting vinyl, but also knew I didn't want to be a prick who couldn't play his vinyls, so he let me have his and helped me pay for my first turntable.

Last year, I got Thrice's The Alchemy Index on vinyl. It still stands as one of my favorite gifts ever. I still haven't listened to it, it just means that much to me to have something that changed how I looked at music on something like vinyl.

My Fire-Orange special edition Nintendo 64 along with Zelda: Majora's Mask was pretty much the sweetest Christmas present considering how legit N64 was at the time. I got so into Majora's Mask that I would call my girlfriend at the time just to talk to her dad who had beat the game earlier. That was the same year that I got my first New Found Glory sampler too, which was a springboard into listening to all of the music that I do now.

This year my wife bought us a trip for Christmas to see family in North Dakota. Best gift ever. Both of my parents have passed away, so I have no family here. It's been a while since I've had a family Christmas. I pretty much have the best wife ever.

I don't know if anyone remembers the toys/tv show, Dino Riders, but I got the t-rex for christmas one year as a young kid. It was halfway sticking out of the fireplace, as if it was a last minute addition to my christmas presents. Apparently, my parents bought it half a year before xmas, but decided to save it for me until the holiday. Best present ever, as I loved dinosaurs and that show.

The best Christmas gift that I have ever received would be my Crosley Stack-O-Matic turntable. My girlfriend knew that I had always wanted a turntable, so she surprised me with one last year. Since then I've collected nearly 100 records. Awesome.

Best present was when I was really into Power Rangers, and my parents bought me every one of the figures, villains included. Every christmas when there would be new power rangers, they would buy me the set of action figures. This lasted until I was 11 and grew out of them.
