The music scene here in MI has been pretty lousy.
I wanna hear this comp when it's finished.

I feel like it used to be a lot better, but I was also 15 then so maybe thats why it was so great.

This Twilight City, Your Best Friend, The Injured List, The Moment, Finding Clyde, Wolves & Machines all need to be on that shit... and I'd submit one of my songs, except I'm in the middle of getting them recorded professionally but just started a week ago... none of them are done yet.

I'm actually really curious to see how the scene is here in Michigan these days. It's been a couple years since I've played out and I've heard everything has changed a lot.

I think a well-constructed Michigan compilation could show a lot of diversity. I think we're at a period where the lame trends are dying out and the talent is sticking around.

Also, I think Question Mark and the Mysterians are currently unsigned.

There are a ton of great bands in Michigan. If you really do care and would like to find some of them then go to shows and support local music.

I'm with you. I think we have a handful of talented artists in the state. It's still crazy to me that Your Best Friend is still unsigned though.

Yeah, you're wrong. And I don't even live in Michigan. You've got La Dis, Bars of Gold, Victor! Fix the Sun, The Reptilian, and a shit load of others. Plus Michigan is a hop skip and a jump from Chicago which has one of the best local scenes in the country.
