I agree with everyone else, return to original form Academy Is... What ever happened to "Hollywood hills and suburban thrills, hey you, who are you kidding? I'm not like them. I won't buy in". Anyway I'm excited to hear this because They still have the potential for something special they just need to break out of the box a bit.

I enjoyed fast times but Almost Here is my favorite album. Santi is second favorite. I find Fast Times to be a fun album but I would like to hear that older sound. If anyone listened to the AP/EP then maybe that is a good sign of musical direction. If so the album could sound like the follow up to santi

Exactly.

One of the few bands in this genre that I feel have the potential to do something amazing. Fast Times is still a good album imo but I loved what they were going for on Santi so I hope this album is more in that direction.

Can't wait for some new stuff.

Totally agreed, but it wasn't a total p.o.s. There were a couple of songs on that record that were really great.
