End of September now? Great. Was really hoping it would be this summer. It will have been 2 years since hello hurricane, and they already had the vice verses recorded during the HH sessions.

Goodness, I can't believe it's already been two years since Hello Hurricane.
i never really got into hello hurricane. I think it's because I went on a little electronic kick for a while. But I loved nothing is sound and oh! gravity. i thought a couple songs on hello hurricane were good. But i'm not a huge fan...should i give it another listen?
Switchfoot is a solid band, they always put out a decent album. In the past 10 or so years of being a fan I have never disliked anything they put out or were involved in. They're always changing things up, which is what I respect them for the most...they'll never put out the same album twice which is something I can't say about too many bands.
Switchfoot isn't "watered down" alternative. They're a rock band first and foremost, and they change their styles a lot. They didn't win a grammy for nothing you know...Hello Hurricane is a very interesting album, Foreman is one of the best lyricists of our generation, it's a shame that people don't know this.
