Nick Drake is a given, as is Elliott Smith by association and sheer brilliance on lists like this, even though he's not on this one. Good to see three of my all time favourites make it up here. Not even a little surprised though.

Some good editions there, although I'm extremely surprised some notables have not made the list yet. I guess they could be suggestions for next year

three albums that people need to know! they are classics!

I chuckled at "Between the Buried and Where We Lie" in the Vheissu paragraph.

The Smiths, Interpol, Refused, Pixies, Nas, Hüsker Dü, and Nick Drake albums are true classics. I love seeing Engine Down on here, though I like their eponymous album more. mewithoutYou and Thrice are nice additions as well. Also, a few albums on there I never heard but should check out.

This is a fantastic list. Kudos, definitely wasn't expecting stuff like Nick Drake to appear here.
