ABSOLUTExclusive: Junius

Posted by: Lueda Alia (10/20/11)
Junius are releasing their new album Reports From the Threshold of Death on October 25th, so to make the wait a little easier, we have set up an exclusive stream of it on their AP.net profile. This is one of the best experimental indie-rock albums of the year, so if you enjoy the genre, then this comes highly recommended. And it goes without saying that if you're already a fan, you are most definitely going to love this. Go take a listen and let us know what you think.

This album doesn't feel as emotionally dynamic as Martyrdom, but still awesome nonetheless. Very smoothly melodic, heartbroken and heavy all the way through.

Their last album was incredible. I can't wait until I'm ready to listen to this. Too much dang new music.

Hopefully this band will pick some steam. I am looking forward to owning and absorbing this.
Will Benoit's band Constants put out an amazing album out last year.
I think folks who love Junius should also give that band a listen as well.
-topher465, I agree with you "too much dang new music."
I love it. 2011 has been generous to our ears

I think I listened to one of their albums before, but I forgot about them. This one is nice. Kinda gives off Codeseven vibes (Dancing Echoes at least).

Haven't listened, but one of my writers thought it was fantastic. Probably have to listen now.

I like the new Deftones inluence and that it sounds more "in your face" but it's a step down to Martyrdom.

Awesome band. Saw them in October. They didn't fit the bill but man they were good.
