Yep. There's still been some good records this year, but few come close to what those bands (and The Flatliners and Fake Problems) did in 2010. I still listen to American Slang, White Crosses and Chamberlain Waits regularly.
I pretty much feel like there are always some great records put out ever year. Samiam's Trips is probably the AOY for me (without giving much thought) with Nothington a close second. I did like the new Copyrights, Banner Pilot, Dead to Me, Cobra Skulls, Chuck Ragan, Bridge and Tunnel,
2012 looks great with new Hot Water Music (my most anticipated), Menzingers, Teenage Bottlerocket, Holy Mess (?), Make Do and Mend, Dopamines, and Against Me!.
