What is Secret Voice? It’s an excuse. It’s an excuse to release different things that I fully believe in, whether it’s a record, book, video, etc. The wonderful people at Deathwish Inc have blessed me with this opportunity. I have been lucky enough to spend most of the last few years traveling, and in my travels I have met a lot of talented people and seen a lot of fantastic bands that have influenced my decision to get this project off the ground. When we were in Europe this last Summer I made the mistake of forgetting my music and books in our van back in the states. This lead to a lot of time to think about what else I wanted to do with my life aside from Touche Amore. I’ve always dreamed of working at a label, so what’s better than starting one with your friends helping you out? Well, here goes nothing.

But damn, that live Touche 7" was killer. Maybe they gave up on it?

truth, its damn good. yeah... my guess was that it was something they were gonna do small releases on before they signed with Deathwish. theres been talks of a new 7" at some point this year, but Deathwish is probably releasing it. maybe they'll do the next Deadhead record on Condolences.

I love me some Touche Amore, but damn do i wish there songs were longer than 1:10 on average. I need more.

You should probably check these guys out then. I feel like drawing TA comparisons would be the laziest thing in the world, but I don't think saying these guys take their sound and space it out a little is far off the mark. Although I do get the Craig Finn mention.

Never heard of this band before but they're awesome.
