The Jealous Sound, Farewell Continental, Daytrader at The Knitting Factory

Ridiculously awesome show. Go see The Jealous Sound on this tour if you can.
I missed Daytrader's set, but here's the setlist:

I really enjoyed Farewell Continental. Then The Jealous Sound took the stage and blew us all away. Really just a great set list. I was psyched to hear Promise of the West live. It's one of my favorites from the new album, and was even more heartbreaking live. I would have liked to hear Waiting For Your Arrival, too - oh well.
Here's the set list (via

Beautiful Morning
Hope For Us
Got Friends
Promise of the West
Perfect Timing
Abandon Abandon
Your Eyes Were Shining
A Gentle Reminder
The Fold Out
Priceless
Anxious Arms
Then Blair came out for an encore and did a solo version of "Turning Around", just him and his electric guitar. Great stuff. I really couldn't ask for a much better combination of songs from their releases while touring on a new album, though the lack of Bitter Strings and Naive keeps this from being my ideal Jealous Sound set list.
