From what I've heard of these songs (I've tried to stay away) they sound much better than anything else post-reunion. Pumpkins have been my absolute favorite band for a while; needless to say I'm stoked about this.

I haven't liked anything the Pumpkins have done since Mellon Collie. Adore and Machina were so mediocre. And everything post breakup is unbearable.

man, I hope this is good. the Smashing Pumpkins were a huge influence on me growing up. Siamese Dream was my jam.

I have no idea how this was off my radar until just now. I'm not getting my hopes up, but you can always hope to hang your hat on a massive Corgan tune if he has one left in him. Been awhile. We'll see.

When you listen to their new stuff, listen to "Song For A Son" first. It's laid out much like a 70's rock epic (a la Stairway To Heaven. Not saying it's a modern Stairway To Heaven, but it's got a similar format).

Saw SP live in December 2010. They put on a fantastic show. Really looking forward to this album.

Billy Corgan is an awesome dude. Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie are amazing albums. Definite must haves.

I have listened to a few of the live versions of the songs on Oceania. They are all incredible and I cannot explain how excited I am for this! I have been waiting for a solid full length for a while now.

The Pumpkins were my favourite band for the better part of my teenage years. Haven't kept up with Teargarden, but I will be picking this up the very morning it comes out.
