ABSOLUTExclusive: Late In The Playoffs feat. Tim...

Posted by: Jack Appleby (04/09/12)
With their 2011 EP Everything I Know, Chicago's Late In The Playoffs showed why they deserve to be defended with all the other pop-punkers. We're proud to premiere their new single "The Wayside," featuring none other than Tim Landers of Transit. Check it out in the replies or on their AP.net Profile.

Everything about this band is awesome. Great music and the nicest guys. Anyone hearing them for the first time through this should definitely check out their first EP (http://lateintheplayoffs.bandcamp.com/). It's spectacular.

One time I played a show with these guys and the lead singer started playing a Northstar song on guitar in between songs. When he stopped I obnoxiously yelled at him to keep going and still feel bad about it to this day, haha.

I got into these guys after their debut EP was mentioned on this site.

They're definitely one of a few local bands worth listening to.

What a courteous heckler! Haha, that's awesome. Gotta love some Northstar.

I like to sing-ah. About the moon-ah and the june-ah and the spring-ah.

I also like this song a lot. Makes my warms fuzzy and my fuzzies warm.

Thought you should know.

I thought I was the only person who ran around singing this. Classic cartoons for the win.
