Doesn't usually happen this far in advance but there's a lot of hype around him at the moment (played biggest ever headline show at Wembley Arena on Friday) so it'll probably be a good time for ticket sales.

At Wembley he played a new song and said he was working on a new album to be out start of next year.

Saw on setlist.fm that Wembley might be the last performance of Ballad of Me and My Friends ever... can you elaborate on what he said? I understand why he'd retire it given his new success but I'll flip on the inside if he does.

He said that he thought it was time to put the song to bed. The crowd didnt seem that impressed.

I think it was the last time. I love that song but he has played it every time i have seen him so maybe it is time.

Damn, I'm a new fan and haven't been able to see him yet. I'd be really disappointed if I never heard "ballad of me and my friends" live :(

Impressed with putting it to bed or impressed with the song? Because it honestly wouldn't surprise me if a lot of Turner fans haven't heard anything outside of the three main albums. Hopefully Frank won't stop playing an awesome song just because some fans are too lame to listen to his older stuff...
