my brother is a huge Real Salt Lake fan. all i know is that this is about soccer. i don't even know if Real and Chelsea are in the same league or not... are they even called leagues?
i shouldn't have replied to this...
While your response made me chuckle a little, it brought up a serious question to ask you. Is Branden Steineckert your brother?
Like it or not the majority of the U.S. does not follow soccer. not bashing it or anything that's just how it is over here.
in fairness, nobody cares if the US doesn't follow football, i mean it is the biggest sport in the world. if one country doesnt follow it then so be it. people just sound like eejits in this thread though.
oh no I gotcha I wasn't bashing the news post, I was just saying that's probably why there were so many people posting non-socccer-educated comments or whatever
I haven't been into football since I was about 12, but ever since then the whole idea of following football teams seems so stupid to me. Like, whenever there's a match on, my newsfeed will be full of status' like "Woo, yeah, let's beat these SCUM!" or "Can't believe we lost." or "OMG! How did he miss that shot??? What a CUNT!". The whole concept of 'following' a team or a sport or whatever is just so stupid to me.
