The first time I met Forever Came Calling, it was several years ago at a show in a strip mall in southern NJ. The misfit group of pop-punkers from Twentynine Palms, CA played to a room of blank stares until they started with their cover of Brand New's "Seventy Times Seven." The room erupted and left those unaware of the band's existence with their jaws on the floor. Fast forward two years later and the band has exceeded any and all expectations, releasing one of the best splits of 2011, becoming the focal point of No Room For Rock Stars, and soon to be releasing their debut full length on Pure Noise Records. Stream "Ides" in the replies and leave your comments there. You can pre-order the record here and buy the song iTunes here.
They are a lot of fun on this tour. Great group of dudes to spend an entire summer crossing states lines and throwing a football with.
Their new album sounds like Del Amitri though.
Just kidding...it rules.
I do not lord out with them, because I don't know what that means. And they won't tell me.

This song is excellent, one of the better choruses on the album.
I am more excited about this record than any other poppy pop-punk record that has come out since I've been working for AP.net, so in the last 2+ years. Do not sleep on this album. They do the Man Overboard style and combine it with some Set Your Goals/Story So Far and just nail it. The only bad thing about the album is that it's only 23 minutes long.
