Maybe it's just me, but this tattoo doesn't really look like a "battered woman" to me (more likely a woman with half her face painted as a mexican sugar-skull or a zombie or something). Chris Brown is still (and probably will always be) a piece of shit, but I think everybody here is grabbing their pitchforks a bit too quickly.
one of my facebook "friends" was quick to point this out as well. What's difficult is that he most likely knew that this would get publicity and what not which perhaps influenced his decision. Now I have no idea why his reasons were for getting the tatoo, just that whatever reasons he'll give at a later time, they will not include the fact that it helped his publicity. He marginalizes his role as a citizen with a bigger voice, by making decisions based on publicity. So why I may agree that people perhaps are overreacting, I wouldn't say that he's in the clear 100 percent.
