I would say if you're still on board after WP, head on to the self-titled and then ATF. That's the core of the Deftones sound in my mind.

After ruffling through their discography again, I agree.

I've never heard of such a thing. However, there was a song that was recorded in Eros sessions called "Trempest", if it's the same song is unclear.

Very, very excited to hear a new Deftones song. One of the best bands out there. Just wish Tool or even A Perfect Circle would get their butts in the studio.
