I'm excited to hear it! I thought the first single Free the House was pretty good. It's definitely different from what he previously did with Paramore though.

I'm pretty sure most of the butthurt from Paramore fans is towards Paramore for forcing the Farros out rather than the other way around, might be wrong.

Yeah they are still looking for a singer but they have been writing based off what they've put on twitter recently. I guess the singer search is not something they are too worried about right now; it'll happen when it happens I suppose.
