I only know this band exists because of Scrubs. Hold On Hope is so good.

I've only ever heard Bee Thousand by this band, but are any of these recent albums worth checking out? I just have to image that they're a little lacking if the band is writing so many songs so quickly. They must literally be releasing everything they write and record and with little time for refinements, but "refined" isn't really what they're about, I guess..

Well first I'd get Alien Lanes, but yeah I mean if you're into what they do (short, lo-fi pop songs/sketches) then their recent work isn't bad. It doesn't reach the highs of their mid-90s apex certainly, but it doesn't really have any totally negative spots either.
