Hey Jason, completely unrelated, but I've noticed that the Mogwai thread has a ridiculous amount of views. I've just checked now, it's at 6,447, which is more than this Fall Out Boy thread, despite only having about 20 posts. Is that a glitch or are people just really keen, but really quiet about Mogwai? It's pretty weird.
Everytime I listen to 'My Best Theory,' I hear a little Patrick Stump in the 'heyy, watch out' part. Not much, but it's there. The vocal tone is similar, especially for two singers who, any other time, sound quite different.
"I'm coming apart at the seams, pitching myself for leads in other people's dreams" really hit too close to home for a long period of time. Being aimless made that album incredibly relatable from the first second.
