I'm so sorry. I can't imagine losing my father, but the few times I've bought about it, I've teared up everytime. All you can do is let time heal your wounds though. It's okay to be torn up about it. You should be, it means you loved him. But as time goes on, the mourning will turn into memories, and instead of crying when you think of him, you'll smile. And here will be hard times, but I promise it will get easier. Stay strong buddy
Really really great advice. I was raised by my grand parents and my grandfather died last year. he was the only dad I knew. That advice that you gave is spot on.
I wish I had words of wisdom and encouragement for your but I don't. Other than let the tears come, I tried to be the "strong" one for my family and I ended up mourning months later, it was a depression that I had a hard time shaking. I'm so so sorry for your loss.
