Ben Folds Live Album Set for Release

Ben Folds Five is releasing a live album on June 4.
Recorded in 2012-2013 on their first tour in more than a decade, this new set - available on CD as well as double vinyl - is comprised of high-energy live versions of some of the band's most beloved classics.

Awesome. I love BFF but I think I'm in the minority who prefers the more polished, poppy sound of Ben Fold's solo albums. Hope we get another album in the vein of Rockin' the Suburbs/Songs for Silverman soon.

I actually prefer his solo stuff as well. Although that's what I started with, so I have some bias.

This is by far my favorite Ben Folds album. This was my shit back in high school.
Same here on both counts. It really is amazing. I love that John McCrea showed up.

I almost prefer most of the songs on that live album than the mastered studio version. His live installment of Emaline is so good.
