I've been meaning to check out The Beauty Between. Kind of surprised Waxahatchee's Cerulean Salt wasn't mentioned. Definitely one of my favorite albums this year.

Don't think Deavheaven was overlooked at all. Listener's Time is a Machine is my overlooked album that's great

not surprised to see vanna on the list...every release since a new hope has flown way too far under the radar. they're still putting out quality stuff

Go Radio's Close The Distance was THE most over looked album of 2012. Should've been huge mainstream wise, Go To Hell had the potential to do so.

It was missed on our account. Oddly enough, we gave Listener a big review/feature yesterday. Great album

Agree with deafheaven.

I'd add Brave Bird's "Maybe You, No One Else Worth It" and Northlane's "Singularity". While these two albums weren't completely overlooked, I feel they are deserving of more attention than they've gotten at this point.

I back both. Great picks.

Deafheaven definitely not overlooked, in my opinion.

I feel like everyone skipped over Josh Ritter's The Beast In Its Tracks, it's phenomenal and is rarely mentioned.
