Interviewed by
For All the Wrong Reasons - 07.17.13The following is a mini interview of generic questions that we posed to all bands that wanted to answer:

For All the Wrong Reasons

1. How did you get your band name?

We threw around a lot of names to begin with. For All The Wrong Reasons was one that stood out and seemed to fit with the style of music and lyrics that we wanted to write.

2. How did this band get started?

We formed in January out of a mutual interest in pop punk and wanting to start a band. Jacob, Chris, Louis and Aiden began writing in January and drafted Alex in at the end of January.

3. What bands are you influenced by?

The Wonder Years, The Story So Far, Such Gold

4. If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would they be and why?

We’d love to tour with The Wonder Years or The Story So Far because they’re our influences and it’d be awesome to share the stage with them.

5. Best food to eat on tour?

We haven’t toured yet, but we eat a lot of Tesco meal deals. Chris has an unhealthy obsession with their Chicken Caesar wraps.

6. Why should people listen to your band?
We have catchy songs with interesting riffs and honest lyrics.

7. If you could be any athlete, which athlete would you switch places with?

Jacob – I’d be Bucky Lasek, because I love vert skating but I can’t do it.
Lou – Chris Bosh, because he’s fabulous.
Aiden – Does Felix Baumgartner count? Falling from space would be cool.
Alex - I'd be Stephen Fry, as he's a mind athlete.
Chris - Mariusz Zbigniew Pudzianowski. He's won the worlds strongest man 5 times, only because I let him though.

8. If you won a Grammy, who would you thank?

Our parents, our friends and everyone who made it possible for us to win. Especially Dazza P (Jacob’s Dad), he’s the bomb.

9. If you could change something about the music industry, what would it be?

Eradicating piracy is the main thing to change within the music industry for most bands. It makes it increasingly difficult to make it big in the music industry. Figures show that piracy is decreasing which is good news!

10. Memorable tour experience?

None yet, but we’ll get back to you with one!

11. What does AP.net mean to you?

It’s a great site to keep up-to-date on all things punk. There are good, honest reviews there too.

12. What is your favorite song to play?

Probably These Past Few Years Haven’t Been So Kind. It’s fun and gets a good reaction from the crowd.

13. What is your vacation spot of choice?

Jacob – I quite like the USA. I’ve been over to Nashville and there’s so much going on there. There’s always live music and that’s never a bad thing for me.
Lou – Copa Cabana Beach. There or San Francisco.
Aiden – SKEGGY!!
Alex – Florida, visiting my Grandparents.
Chris - My life is one big vacation. Wales is pretty nice though.

14. What music reminds you of your childhood?

Jacob - Early Blink-182 and Sum 41 stuff mostly. Some tunes from Disney movies get me all nostalgic at times. Who doesn’t go crazy for Circle of Life?
Lou - Sum 41, Blink-182, Papa Roach.
Aiden: Blink-182, Sum 41, Good Charlotte, Linkin’ Park, Nirvana, Wheatus.
Alex - Nirvana, Neil Young, Metallica, early Blink-182, AFI and early New Found Glory.
Chris - The Jam, my Mum raised me well.

15. If you could have any super power, what would it be? Why?

Jacob – I’d like to be able to fly. It just looks fun.
Lou – X-ray vision, I have my reasons.
Aiden - To summon and then command wildlife.
Alex – I’d have a throat that never gets sore.
Chris - To be super handsome. Oh wait, I guess flying would be pretty sweet. I’d never be late to practice again!

16. Any pre-show superstitions or rituals?

Normally we have a group-hug and chant the lyrics to a certain Bobby Light song that’s become an anthem within the band.

17. What is something that most fans don't know about you?

Jacob – I really like country music.
Lou – I can turn pretty much anything into an innuendo.
Aiden – I’m a bird enthusiast.
Alex - My name means ‘The Protector Staff-Holder’, which basically means I’m Gandalf.
Chris - That I have a girlfriend, so ladies it'll have to be your place. I'm joking, I'm joking. Probably that I'm shoe size 14, I often shop for shoes at the canoe store.

18. What is your assessment of the current state of radio? Do you think it's a place where your band could flourish?

It’s not as popular as it used to be, but I (Jacob) still listen to Radio One pretty much every day in my car. I like to know what’s current. I’m not sure that it’s somewhere that this band could flourish, because the music isn’t mainstream enough. There are stations like Kerrang out there that we’d fit in to, but the amount of listeners isn’t as large as Radio One or Radio Two.

19. What do you like to do in your spare time?

Jacob – I work, play games and watch a lot of stuff on YouTube.
Lou – I play games, look at funny pictures of monkeys on the Internet and play drums.
Aiden – I hibernate, no matter what time of year. I go off-road biking too.
Alex – I’m starting to work on my art and music zine.
Chris – It involves tissues and closed curtains… That's right, I watch sad films.

20. What kind of hidden talents do you have?

Jacob – I can kind-of play the Bagpipes.
Lou – I do an incredible Raptor impression.
Aiden - I'm a pretty good masseuse, or so I’ve been told.
Alex - I can fit my fist in my mouth.
Chris – I can burp the alphabet.
