Earlier today, Nine Inch Nails premiered a new track titled "Everything" on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show. You can stream a radio rip of the song in the replies. It's off the band's upcoming album, Hesitation Marks, which hits stores on September 3rd.
Love this band and both songs released thus far, but I'm going to hold off on listening to any more of this album until the whole thing is released. I don't want to play it out. Cant wait to get my vinyl copy.
I absolutely adore this song, restored a little hope in me for this album.
This is really upbeat for NIN. It's funny seeing all the Facebook comments from bitter NIN fans saying this isn't "real NIN" because it's "happy." I think this track is far more engaging than the other two.
This is a pretty bold song to be released under the NIN name. It's excellent, has a very 80's The Cure/Joy Division song and chorus is just noisy as fuck. I really love this, perfect song to blare when driving on a nice sunny Fall day with the windows down...that is probably the only time that statement will ever be made about a NIN song.
It's nice seeing older artists that are still willing to take chances and explore new sounds, love the new direcrtion he's going in.
This is the most interesting one so far, happiness and all.
That said, I'm going to have a hard time enjoying this album as much as previous efforts. Love most songs off The Slip, love Year Zero, With Teeth. But this is tougher to like.
The other two songs especially, they feel very subpar. This one is harder to compare. At least it's got some balls, to go all lighthearted like that.
