Bowie's album is a cracker. Would be between that and AM for me but then i've only heard one of the other albums on the list in full; James Blake's Overgrown, which was also very good. I love what i've heard from Disclosure so far but not got around to listening to the album yet. Same with the Foals album, heard about half of it, very promising.
With each year I get less and less impressed by the albums up for nomination. I can't explain why, I just do. Most of the buzz seems to be around Bowie and Jake Bugg so far, so I imagine one of those will win. My money is on Jake Bugg atm.
This list sucks. So many independent acts they left out (Peace, Drenge, Ghostpoet - off the top of my head)
Surely a lot of these acts don't need the £20,000 after getting number 1 albums. Jake Bugg's album is just pure filler anyway (14 tracks, lucky if 7 of them are good). I hope that one doesn't win and i'm from Nottingham.
