As one of my favourite bands of all time and having completely fallen out of love with them after the self-titled came out, TBS have completely pulled me back in with 'Flicker, Fade'. I really really hope the album isn't a disappointment. Both that and Beat-Up Car definitely hark back to the glory days so really hope that's a good sign.

Also hope Brand New go really pop (in the good sense) if we get the album this year.

Wow, I'm surprised WATIC cracked the top 5. Still a solid list though.
some bands get involved more than others, and more power to them, in my opinion.

Oh yeah, definitely. And don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the band. I just didn't think they had that large of a presence on the site for them to be that high on the list.

Really surprised Blink ended up @ 9. I expected them to crack the top 5 for sure. WATIC and Fireworks also surprised me.

I can't believe We are the In Crowd broke the top 5 on this site. I mean, look at any of their comments sections vs. that of Fireworks, for example. Nearly universal anticipation for Fireworks without even a song, and a bunch of people hating on WATIC in every threat.

For me at least, if you move WATIC to Modest Mouse's Place, move Modest Mouse up to number 9, and give Blink the number 5 spot this list is pretty much perfect

Pretty solid list, mine would look a little different though. I'd drop a few (The Used, All Time Low, Red Jumpsuit, WATIC) and I'd add in Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate) and The Hotelier. Also, not sure if they're planning 2014 releases but if they are I'd add The American Scene and The Tower and The Fool.

Weatherbox is all I need from this year, though Brand New would be unreal too.
