Who?

Since Forever are some fast-paced, Christ-laced, let’s-get-right-to-the-good-stuff rock fiends. Welcome to the Night is 25 minutes of potential. I am interested to see where this Nashville group may land. You are reading this when you should be studying!

How Is It?

Zach Easterwood has a voice that could use a bit of lassoing in (see the harmonies on “Comeback of the Century”), and by that I mean, in that much-loved upper register, he gets a bit willy nilly. Chances are he’s no rookie, and with more recordings under his spiky belt, he’ll be right up there with other notable pop-punk sirens (minus the whole “hot girls that murder” thing). Other than his few missteps, Since Forever rule pretty consistently. Both “Rule #1 of Sound” and “Comeback of the Century” do some fancy things with scene rock music. Some unusually intricate guitar work from Taylor Easterwood and Brendan Johnson - and a faux-breakdown complete with gang vocals - make this music fun for the whole family. Well, maybe not the whole family, but your Metro Station loving sister might nod her head in between checks of Trace Cyrus’ Twitter. “Champions of Norrath,” which I believe is a reference to something even I’m not nerdy enough to play, finally removes the tense question of, “When is this dude gonna let loose and scream?” Well, here we have it and we could probably do without it. The set of a horror movie is probably missing their gremlin. “Bears, Bears of Cloverfield” is the EP’s most mature and refined effort. Slight vocoder effects are applied to Easterwood’s voice and the chorus truly erupts into memories of drinking lemonade outside while checking your gmail. Oh, the good ol’ days. But digressions aside, Since Forever have a good thing going, and as long as their guitarists keep up the creativity, breaking through should be no problem at all.

Recommended If You Like: There For Tomorrow, Hit The Lights, mustache rides, THE F**KING BEATLES, Ocean Is Theory, sorry about that outburst

Seriously, sorry about thatwww.myspace.com/sinceforever

I beg to differ...their MySpace has their store on it where you can buy the EP along with some other shirts, or it says you can buy it on iTunes, Amazon, and Rhapsody.

I saw these guys play their CD release show and it was AMAZING. If you are a fan of All Time Low, FTSK, Four Year Strong then I strongly recommend this EP.

a few notes for Blake....
1. Check your facts - Zach's brother does those harmonies you criticized.
2. Spencer the bass player screams on champions.
3. You spent too much time trying to be funny.
Other that, it's an ok review ... And they're definitely worth listening to and supporting.

1.) Zing
2.) Zing
3.) Zing ZING!

If your point was to make me admit they all could use some work on the singing aspect, then ok, I'll say it: They all need to work on their singing.

I've known this band since they started out as JAM(Jesus and me)band
back about 3 years ago, they changed their name, a few members, worked
at their sound and they've definitely gone from good to incredible.
Champions of Norrath is my current ringtone actually.
I've been to several of their shows and they've become one
of my favorite bands, along with All Time Low, Hit the Light, The Maine and
several other big bands. They can measure up, and their EP
is amazing.

I like their music, but I agree about the vocals. I can tell its a EP. It's good, but I bet by the time they get signed and release a LP, it will be excellent.
