Yeah, I got that, but I don't think it's really that cliche, honestly, I wouldn't say it's been done a thousand times, but maybe I just dont' listen to the right music to hear it.

if there's anything cliche it would be the pop punk / emo stuff lots of bands do. I'm afraid Arcade Fire is on a different level.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess you've probably never listened to The Arcade Fire...? Also, TAF don't belong to the "scene." Unless you're talking about East coast and canadian hipsters, who generally aren't AP.net's target demographic.
