You can check out our interview with Emery here. The band's brand new album, You Were Never Alone, is out now.
Now this one I don’t really know, because so far they’re the most positive comments we’ve ever gotten. There’s two reasons that could be - one, the stuff’s great and everyone loves it; two, we’re releasing it ourselves, maybe we’re not getting enough people that aren’t predisposed to liking it to hear the record yet. I’m looking forward to moving ahead and pushing the record in general after the release, maybe we can get some negative comments that way, which means we’re reaching new people.

Matt from Emery has posted his response to Mark Driscoll's resignation from Mars Hill Church.
I attended Mars Hill for 10 years, beginning in 2002, when it was a single location. It is the only church where I have ever been a Christian. I have been a worship leader, deacon, redemption group leader, small group host and leader, have done Biblical counseling, and even been a volunteer sound guy. I learned almost EVERYTHING I know about Jesus, God, and the Bible there, mostly from Mark Driscoll himself. He is the single biggest human influence on my spiritual life. I have spent some time around him personally, including standing back stage shooting the shit right before he was going on to...

The packages inlcude autographed merch, limited vinyl, personal fan experiences, and more. All packages come with downloads of two new, rough-version tracks from the upcoming album.
Something didn't feel right about someone else owning Emery's future recordings in perpetuity, especially when independent musicians are getting better opportunities to succeed every year. We want to own our music. We want to be able to sell it, give it away, re-record it in different ways, release vinyl, and do whatever we're inspired to do with it

It's been almost 11 years since we released 'The Weak's End.' That's a little hard to believe for us! In that time, we have seen more success than we could have possibly dreamed. We toured the world, created five more albums, and had the privilege of meeting and getting to know a ton of you along the way. You have never left us. As we came up with what we wanted to say here, it almost brought us to tears. We really were never alone. You are Emery. And you are the reason that we are still here, and why our...
