An AP.net reader/detective talked to Cassino's touring guitarist about Cassino's appearance at the Triple Crown Anniversary show and the inclusion of Northstar songs.

Tonight at the Cassino show, their touring guitarist revealed that Nick and Tyler from Cassino will be playing an acoustic set on Monday at the Triple Crown Anniversary Show at the Blender Theater including Northstar songs. There is a possibility of a full band song or two as well, he said.

At tonight's Cassino show in Columbus, Ohio, the crowd was treated to a nice surprise when the band "covered" Northstar's "Two Zero Two" on a fan's (my) request.

Check out The Wallace Virgil, the side project of Tyler from Cassino. There are 3 songs posted on their myspace and a 5 song demo will be available on Cassino's upcoming east coast tour with As Tall As Lions and The Dear Hunter.

Northstar will be releasing one last EP called the Broken Parachute EP containing new/alternative versions of songs on Speak Music Media.
