Refused have issued an official statement regarding their reunion. So far they have only announced an appearance at Coachella.

Refused's The Shape of Punk to Come can be pre-ordered on a vinyl re-issue on Epitaph's webstore. The release date is set for June 8, and only the first 500 copies purchased will be on limited blue vinyl, so order yesterday. Other pre-order packages include a t-shirt or a copy of the band's DVD documentary.

Aesthetically, no one wants to ever be told what to expect. If a sound is so far off course from the norm, sometimes we don't even retain what just hit us right away. Like any sort of genre-defying move, the ideas eventually get regurgitated and overly run into the ground, or the ideas stem from earlier ground that never surfaced and took notice on a major level first.
