Trophy Scars are gearing up for the highly-anticipated release of their new album, Holy Vacants. They're eying an October 29 digital release, with the vinyl reserved for Black Friday, November 29. We're streaming a new song from the effort, titled "Hagiophobia," on the band's AP.net profile and in the replies.
Under The Gun recently caught up with Jerry Jones (Trophy Scars) and he gave a lot of insight about the intricate themes of the band's forthcoming full-length album, details about his inspirations and the plethora of side projects the members have been involved with.

This past March, Trophy Scars performed their 2006 album, Alphabet. Alphabets., in its entirety for the first time ever in celebration of its release on vinyl. Footage of the event was captured by Some Other Productions, and the resulting documentary can be seen in the replies. Trophy Scars' Alphabet. Alphabets. will be released on vinyl for the first time ever on Tuesday, March 13th at 5pm EST via Simply Legendary Records. The label was started by AP.net's own Alex DiVincenzo. The pressing is limited to 500 copies; 400 on white and 100 on white with blue splatter with a special poster and letter from the band.
Trophy Scars will perform Alphabet. Alphabets. in its entirety on March 10 at Maxwell's in Hoboken, NJ to celebrate the album's release on vinyl. Tickets can be purchased here, and information on the vinyl will be announced soon.
Trophy Scars have formed a label called The Same Ghost Collective. Its first release will be the debut EP by Washington's Trickster Fox, The Misadventures Of, Vol. I. It will be available digitally on January 31 and on 12" vinyl on March 6. Stream/download a track, "Dear John, Segue I," on facebook.
In a recent message board post, Jerry from Trophy Scars mentioned upcoming vinyl releases of their previous material, a live/studio documentary DVD, a split 7" (possibly with This Will Destroy You), an acoustic digital EP and an upcoming "musical" full-length.
Metal Blade Records has signed Intensus. The band is a solo project of multi-instrumentalist/Knife the Glitter drummer Eli Litwin. The self-titled debut will feature guest spots from Tommy Rogers (Between the Buried and Me), Jerry Jones (Trophy Scars), Robert Meadows (A Life Once Lost), Jesse Korman (The Number Twelve Looks Like You), and more.
