Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba has announced another new project called Matt Skiba And The Sekrets. The group also has AFI's Hunter Burgan and My Chemical Romance's Jarrod Alexander, will release Babylon later this year.

Tim Armstrong (Rancid) has been working on a musical series entitled RockNRoll Theater. The pilot episode will feature Davey Havok (AFI), Lars Frederiksen, Fishbone, Robert David Hall (CSI) and more. Head to the replies to watch the trailer.

We've been able to confirm that AFI have not broken up. It appears an account on their online message board was hacked; however, AFI are still a band. We'll keep this post updated with any new news we find.

Stellar Corpses will release Dead Stars Drive-In on January 24, 2012 via Santa Carla Records. The album was produced by Joe McGrath and will feature guest spots from Hunter Burgan and Jade Puget of AFI and Michale Graves (ex-Misfits).

AFI frontman Davey Havok sits down with Mark on the latest episode of Hoppus on Music this Friday, February 25, at 11/10c on Fuse TV. Fitz & the Tantrums will also be performing on the show. Video clips and more info in the replies.
