Sources close to Bamboozle are confirming that the announcement on May 1st will unveil "The Bamboozle Left". Left, a two day event, Is The West Coast Bamboozle version and is expected to arrive on Oct. 14 & 15 in Pomona, CA. The event will be produced by Goldenvoice and Max Cruise. Goldenvoice produces the popular Coachella Festival and Max Cruise handles The Bamboozle. The line up will not be announced until late July. The city of Pomona is just outside Los Angeles and in the heart of Orange County.

The Bamboozle is set to reveal a host for this years event. In related news, this is the first year that an artist will host the event. The host will appear both days and you expect an official announcement in the next two weeks.
Minus The Bear, Motion City Soundtrack, Pistolita, Paramore, Jonas Brother, Sunglasses At Night and a "Defjam Recordings artist" have all been confirmed for 2006 Bamboozle.
Bamboozlers around the world asked Santa for Streetlight Manifesto, Armor For Sleep, Thursday, Senses Fail, The Bled, Every Time I Die and It Dies Today to appear on this years event. Other gifts around the Bamboozle tree include 7 stages, the Giants Practice Bubble, a new website, and a new tour called "The Bamboozle Road Show" which will hit select cities. The Bamboozle Festival 2006 is proud to annouce Fall Out Boy and Taking Back Sunday as this year's headliners. Fall Out Boy will perform on Saturday, May 6th and Taking Back Sunday will perform on Sunday, May 7th at The Meadowland's Sports Complex in East Rutherford, NJ. Limited discount weekend passes are on sale now exclusively at the festival's website for $57.00 (including $2.00 facility fee). Bamboozle will make more announcements as artists are confirmed. Contrary to the what the recently posted MTV.com article reads, NO BANDS have been confirmed for Bamboozle 2006 at this time. In addition to this mistake, the single day ticket price in the article was wrong (in other words, take that article with a grain of salt). Also, to clear up some more confusion, the event will not be held inside of the Continental Airlines Arena, however, you can expect something cool inside of the New York Giants' practice bubble.
