Bayside address an incident that occurred at a recent show in South Carolina, where an alleged fight broke out.
Quote"We want to make it clear that Anthony and Bayside's role in the incident in South Carolina is being blown way out of proportion. There was no "fight", certainly no one was "jumped" and no one in Bayside ever even punched anyone. We urge you to take anything you hear with a grain of salt and understand that there are two sides to every story."

I went and saw the Bayside/Saves the Day tour the other night and it got me thinking a lot about longevity. How did those two bands last so much through one of the most progressive times in the music industry? How did they survive against the elements of death, label issues and pleasing longtime fans? Hit the replies and let's talk about not what makes a hold any sort of longevity past "putting out good music." What makes you continue to see your favorite bands year after year or multiple times a year at that?
Adam Pfleider on 11/04/11 - 08:11 AM
In a recent interview, Bayside said they would consider releasing a 7" series of cover or acoustic songs.
Quote"Weíve always talked about doing like a cover, not a record, but maybe a series of 7 inches or something. We cover a lot of songs just at sound check or even in our set if we have time and I think itís a really cool idea. For us, the more time we have to write a song, the better itís going to be. With our new album Killing Time, we took a lot of time on those songs and we feel like theyíre the best 10 songs we ever wrote. We donít want to necessarily write a song just to write a song. So I think thatís where doing a cover thing or maybe an acoustic thing will take the edge off...
