Gym Class Heroes were in a serious van accident early Thursday morning in southwestern New Mexico. They totaled their van and trailer, and most of their gear was unsalvageable. Travis, Matt, Disashi and Eric are all alright, just a little banged up. Seth was flown to a near by hospital, and got out of surgery late last night. He is in good spirits, and will hopefully be heading back to New York this weekend. A full statement from the band will be coming soon, but we just wanted to let you all know they have cancelled their shows this weekend in Arizona and California. Summer tour plans remain the same, and they look forward to seeing you all on Warped Tour.

Sony BMG has struck a deal with the plaintiffs in a class action lawsuit over copy-restriction software it used in music CDs, according to a settlement document filed at a New York court Wednesday.
The record label has agreed to compensate buyers of CDs that contained the XCP and MediaMax DRM programs and to provide software utilities to allow consumers to uninstall both types of software from their computer.
In the settlement filing, Sony states that it will immediately recall all XCP CDs and replace them with non-content-protected CDs. It has also agreed to offer incentives to U.S. customers to "ensure that XCP CDs are promptly removed from the market." Sony first released...

On Saturday, December 17th, 2005, Class Action Records presents The Breakup, Leftover, and newly signed Negative Progression band AMITY for CAR's first of many CAR showcases. The show is a benefit for the American Red Cross in Whittier, CA and a fun night in the making. Check out the Class Action Records MySpace page for more info on this show.
On Friday, November, 18, Gym Class Heroes will be headlining the "Rock the Wreath" benefit show in Orlando, Florida to support Toy for Tots. The event is being held on the front lawn of the University of Central Florida's Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity house. Supporting acts include Early Next Year, Boxelder, and Greyscale. Admission is $5 or the donation of a new toy. The event is all ages and open to everyone.
