A band called The I.L.Y.s released an album this morning called I've always been good at true love, which you can download here. Lots of speculation is going around about how this band is connected to Death Grips, because they are basically the Illuminati of post-industrial pre-future indie music. Death Grips are streaming their "final" album, Jenny Death, which is the second half of double album The Powers That B. They also posted that they "might make some more" records on Facebook. Whether it's their actual last album or not, you can stream it in the replies.
Death Grips have surprised us once again in true Death Grips fashion and dropped the first half of their new double album for free. This half is called ****** on the moon, and the full double album titled the powers that b is due out later this year. According to the band, Bjork is featured on all eight tracks. Last night, Death Grips were tapped to play an officially sanctioned Lollapalooza aftershow at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago. They didn't show up. According to several reports from Reddit and Twitter, after learning that the band wouldn't play, fans proceeded to destroy their equipment, including a drum kit that was presumably Zach Hill's. [...] According to Lollapalooza's representatives, the band "chose not to arrive in Chicago" and will not play the festival.
Death Grips have announced the establishment of Thirdworlds, the band's own label imprint created with Harvest/Capitol Records. The band will retain ownership of its most recent album, no love deep web and are currently working on new music, with the hopes of releasing a new album in 2014.
