We have about 15 spots that have opened up in our Fantasy Football Charity Challenge! If you hit the replies, you can see the band members that still have spots available in their leagues -- most band members only have one remaining spot. If you want to participate and you can send in your $20 PayPal donation to Shirts For A Cure immediately, please email Thomas Nassiff as soon as possible with the band members names whose league you would want to play in! We are trying to get these spots filled up as soon as possible so the season can get rolling.

We've successfully filled all 161 available spots in the 23 fantasy football leagues for this year's second AP.net Fantasy Football Challenge! We're on our way to raising around $3,000 for Shirts For A Cure this year. If you emailed us about participating, you should have seen a reply already -- make sure you check your spam folders if you haven't seen it yet. Just a reminder that everyone who was placed into a league has until tonight at midnight EST to make their $20 PayPal donation, and if there are any spots available because people don't donate, we'll make a post about it here on the homepage tomorrow! Email me if you have any questions.

Today we are launching the second year of the AP.net Fantasy Football Challenge! Last year we raised nearly $3,000 for the Ronald McDonald House of Albany through this; again this year with the help of Dan from The Wonder Years, we've set up 23 (!) fantasy football leagues where you have the chance to play with members from a bunch of different bands from our community. For a $20 donation -- which will help us raise around $3,000 and will be donated to Shirts For A Cure to benefit breast cancer awareness and research -- you can participate in a fantasy football league with a member from some of your favorite bands throughout this year's football season. To find out who is playing, how to...

In case anyone forgot, this past fall we launched the first-ever AP.net Fantasy Football Challenge. Members of our community contributed $20 each and all the money was put into a pool. Each of the fantasy football leagues was run by a band member and each member picked a charity. An ultimate winner (using win-loss record, points for, points against and point differential as measuring sticks) has now been determined! The winner of Brandon Pagano's (Handguns) league, Micah, finished with an 11-3 record and the best overall point differential out of all the champions, so the money collected nearly $3,000 will be donated next week to the Ronald McDonald House of Albany. In case you're...

With one week of fantasy football in the history books, early-season winners and losers alike turned their attention to the waiver wire to get ahead of the game and pick up sleeper players. Now looking ahead to Week 2, we've got "Start-Em, Sit-Em" advice from Dan Campbell of The Wonder Years and some waiver wire suggestions from Brian Schmutz of The Starting Line. Both of these gentlemen are participating in our first-ever AP.net Fantasy Football Challenge, which raised over $2,500 for charity this year.

Happy football, people. The NFL season kicks off today and with it begins our inaugural season of AP.net Fantasy Football. Along with our awesome participating band members, we've combined to raise over $2,500 for charity this year! To refresh yourself on what I'm talking about, check out the original post. Now, as a reminder, we'll have regular columns like "Start'em / Sit'Em" beginning next week. But right now you can jump to the replies to check out the starting lineups for each of our participating band members' teams. Who had the best draft? Why does Jack from All Time Low have Tim Tebow starting at quarterback? Discuss the draft results in the replies and keep up with our fantasy...

Today we are launching the first-ever AP.net Fantasy Football Challenge! With the help of our friend Dan from The Wonder Years, we've set up 18 fantasy football leagues where you can get the chance to play with members from a bunch of different bands from our community. Each of the band members has picked a charity for their league to represent, and at the end of the football season, one winner will be chosen to receive all of the proceeds. Each entry requires a submission of $20 again, all to go to charity at the end of the season. Throughout the season, we'll be posting weekly standings from each league, along with a "Start'Em, Sit'Em" column brought to you by one of our...
