Hellogoodbye is Spin's"Band of the Day." A new song called "Figures A & B (Means You and Me)" can be downloaded here, courtesy of SPIN. Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! hits stores on August 8th.
In the latest Alternative press, Forrest of Hellogoodbye is quoted as saying:
"The bigger a band is, the more horrible things will be said about them, regardless of what they do. If you ever read (punk-gossip website) Absolutepunk.net, you'll hate yourself inside, no matter what."

Hellogoodbye have just annnounced a costume contest, which you can check out here. Also if you are interested, they have a new fan newsletter that you can sign up for here! They have also finished shooting their video for "Here (In Your Arms)" and it will be premiering next week.
According to Wikipedia, hellogoodbye's video for "Here In Your Arms" will be directed by Fred Savage (The Wonder Years). The concept features a sleep away camp whose counselors, unbeknownst to the campers, turn into zombies at night that like to have dance parties under the stars.

PunkVideoGuys.org posted a live video of Hellogoodbye performing "Shimmy Shimmy Quarter Turn" from their Christmas show in Anaheim, CA last winter on their Myspace.com page.

Hellogoodbye will be the "House Band" on MTVu.com week of 2/20 and week of 2/27 (2 week run!). House Band spotlights an artist for two weeks and features their videos, live performances, interviews and more on MTVu.com. The feature launches on Monday (2/20) at 6am.
hellogoodbye recently played a show with Yellowcard for MTV2's $2 Bill Concert Series. The show will air on January 27th at 8:00PM EST/PT on MTV2, a preview of the show can be seen here.
HelloGoodbye will perform a special show in San Diego at Soma on Sunday January 8 in conjunction with MTV2's $2 Bill Concert Series. HelloGoodbye will open the show featuring Yellowcard. Tickets go on sale Thursday January 6th at 12pm at the Soma Box Office in San Diego (13350 Sports Arena Blvd.) and are also available on Somasandiego.com or Lunatiks.com while supplies last. You'll need cash if you are buying tickets at the box office, 4 tickets max per purchaser. All ages. Show starts at 6:30pm.

Hellogoodbye has won MTV2's Dew Circuit Breakout contest. The prizes include: new Gibson gear, $10,000 cash, a week of play on MTV2, meetings with top label executives, and an opening spot on a major US tour.
Forrest of hellogoodbye is halfway through recording the new album with Matt Mahaffey. Jack from Steel Train joined Forrest in the studio this past weekend for some guest banjo playing.
