At this point, we've all decided to listen to Max Bemis through thick and thin, in sickness and in health. For nearly ten years, the Say Anything mastermind has won over fans through all kinds of sounds, and will do it again with the release of Anarchy, My Dear on March 13th via Equal Vision Records. I had the chance to chat with Max, where we talked about the new record, "Admit It Again," ...Is A Real Boy, Perma (his band with wife Sherri Dupree-Bemis), and the future in general. Say Anything frontman Max Bemis has launched an imprint label on Equal Vision Records called Rory Records. The first signing is Tampa's Tallhart. The band will release an EP produced by Bemis, Tim McTague (of Underoath) and Dean Tidey (of Feeder) in the spring. The first single, "Fever (Sister of Mine)," will be released digitally on March 6th. Read the press release in the replies.

Max Bemis will release a lo-fi post punk full-length album under the name Max Bemis and the Painful Splits. Each copy will be signed and sold exclusively on Say Anything's upcoming tour with Motion City Soundtrack.

Max Bemis of Say Anything has contributed guest vocals to Upon a Painted Ocean, the new album from Rob Johnson, an unsigned artist from the UK. The instrumental album features spoken word from Max on several tracks. More information and tracks from the album can be found on myspace.
