Stacy Clark is finishing up recording her new album this week, and is looking at a January release. She will be opening a show for Mike Herrera (MxPx) at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA on September 3rd.
Mike Herrera's (MxPx) alt-country side-project, Tumbledown, will be releasing a self-titled album on May 19th. For a preview check out the ABSOLUTExclusive premiere of "Homeward Bound" on their AP.net Profile for some twangy banjo goodness.

As a continuation of our exclusive for MxPx, we have posted the promo photo for their cover of U2's "I Will Follow". In addition, MxPx has teamed up with Spin.com to release an online stream of their version of The Ramones’ “My Brain is Hanging Upside Down (Bonzo Goes to Bitburg)”. In light of the track release, Spin.com will also be hosting the band’s matching Ramones promotional photo. Check back next Monday, as we will have another impersonation photo.

To support the release of MxPx's Secret Weapon last year, Jones Soda made limited edition, not-offered-in stores bottle sets with the band members' faces and the full band on the labels, inspired by the artwork. 15 more sets have been uncovered (the set contains Vanilla Cola and Cream Soda) and are now available in the Tooth & Nail Webstore.
The Real You is demoing with Mike Herrera of MxPx and on September 22nd will be heading into the studio with Rob Freeman (Cobra Starship, Hit the Lights). You can pick up their last EP on Amazon MP3 to tide you over until the new material is released.
Jones Soda created a set of limited edition MxPx Jones Soda bottles using some photos from their new album Secret Weapon. There are four limited editio bottles in the set, one for each member, and one group shot as well. There are only 120 of each bottle in existence and the only way to get them is to enter the MxPx Jones Soda Bottle Contest, which you can enter here. Also, before you enter the contest, please watch the video in the replies. Jones Soda is donating 25 cents for each play of the video to Vitamin Angels. The money donated will be used to provide vital nutrition to children in need.
