Peachcake have started a video "Rant" series and have posted the first video on their myspace page. Singer, Stefan Pruett, talks about their current status, their plans to run for President in 2008, and how everyone can get involved with the release of their upcoming album, What Year Will You Have The World?... The album is scheduled for an early 2008 release. Video can be seen in the replies.

Peachcake's new album, What Year Will You Have The World?.., will see the shelves in early 2008. They've launched a new myspace page and updated their blog of all the new happenings. They have also announced that they will be hitting the road for a few shows in November with Freezepop, and some special engagement gigs on their own.

The Tokyo Rose/Peachcake/The Actual tour has been canceled due to Tokyo Rose and The Actual having to drop off from unforeseen circumstances. The bands all apologize for the occurrence, and Peachcake will be back out this Fall doing various make up shows to compensate for the cancellations. More details of Peachcake's tour schedule coming soon.

Following up on this post, Peachcake had to drop off the first half of the tour, due to expenses and other reasons. Check the replies for the dates they will be playing. They will also be doing a full Southeast/East Coast tour w/ The High Court and Royden beginning at the end of June. Dates and more details will be announced soon.

Peachcake Recording UpdateThe recording process of the record is well underway, and after working on the record for the last year and a half, it's almost reached its completion. We've set a tentative release date of which I cant divulge just yet, but I'm happy to say the majority of "What year will you have the World?.." (album title) is tracked, some of it is mixed, and it will soon be ready to go for a release to the world hopefully sooner than later. We will also have a tracklisting for you soon.
