Peachcake's new album, What Year Will You Have The World?.., will see the shelves in early 2008. They've launched a new myspace page and updated their blog of all the new happenings. They have also announced that they will be hitting the road for a few shows in November with Freezepop, and some special engagement gigs on their own.
Peachcake has announced the first set of dates for their "Peachcake House Party Extravaganza Tour!" (on the way to CMJ/and back) in which they will be playing a mixed-pallet of both venue shows and house shows. Head to the replies for the tour dates.
The Tokyo Rose/Peachcake/The Actual tour has been canceled due to Tokyo Rose and The Actual having to drop off from unforeseen circumstances. The bands all apologize for the occurrence, and Peachcake will be back out this Fall doing various make up shows to compensate for the cancellations. Arizona bands, Peachcake and Less Pain Forever have recently released a brand new split CD / EP entitled, Now We Have Something To Celebrate. It's out now on Western Tread Recordings, the label owned by Jim Adkins of Jimmy Eat World. Peachcake will be joining the Hellogoodbye tour from October 11th-22nd.
