Weezer bounced through Austin on Tuesday December 2nd to play a not-surprisingly sold out show for local radio station 101X's holiday party. The band took the stage a tore through a stacked set in just an hour and a half. While Rivers Cuomo wasn't the most enthused version of himself, fans went away happy, especially those who had picked up and fallen in love with the band's newest album Everything Will Be Alright in The End. Take a peek at a few photos from the show in the comments, as well as a link to a full gallery.

While I spend as little time as possible in Dallas (I lived there 18 years, it was enough), I venture back to see my family for the holidays and this Thanksgiving break I was lucky enough to not only see my myriad of family members, but to also catch a show at fabled venue, The Door. My first club show ever was at The Door in 2003 so even though the locations have changed, the nostalgia still hits hard.

There is nothing in this world like gypsy punk. Gogol Bordello played a sold-out show in Austin last night at Stubbs Amphitheater. Normally the crowd at this venue is kind of ass-holey, but last night everyone was singing, dancing, stomping, and as they say "thinking locally, and fucking globally". Check out some photos as well as a link to the full gallery below. °Viva Gogol!

The crazy-rad PUP the Band played an absolutely raucous set this past Friday at Austin's Red 7. The show was preceeded by locals, Borzoi, California's Hard Girls, and many drinks. A good time was had by all. Check out photos in the replies, as well as a link to the full, drunken gallery.
